I would think that the length is hard to blend without looking off a bit, but the volume would be just fine.

I have a g wig, I don't know if it's the exact same as the ones you are thinking of, but it's basically one extension piece in 3 clips. It gives me tons of volume and I got the 22 inch so it's pretty long as well. It looks very natural, I wear it every day. I would pick this method over a full head of clip ins every day. I don't know why more people don't use it. I can also put my hair in ponytails and high buns and you cannot see the tracks.

Oh ok, the g wig is 8 or 9 wafts so probably a lot more volume than you'd want!
