If you want it brighter, I'd suggest getting the l'oreal hilift permanent highlights. They have about 3 different shades of red and work SO good! I've gone to super bright red to a darker burgundy with that and developer. Ion didn't work for me either. how long did you leave it on?

The same thing happened to me I went back like two weeks later with a dye a little brighter then I originally intended and it came out like in the middle.

You can add a little or a lot to conditioner to adjust how much red you want, and that way you don't have to damage your hair except when you might need bleach to lift your roots.😁 Enjoy your color!!🍓
