I have a tattoo on the right hand side of my rib cage, I really didn't think it was that bad, I took two Tylenol before I went to get it done and have a high tolerance for pain. (Don't take ibuprofen, it's a blood thinner and can increase bleeding while getting tattooed)

I personally don't have one on my ribs but I have heard from someone who does, that it can get quite painful on the bone, it takes your breath away, but we all have different pain tolerances. So it's really just a matter of how good of a pain tolerance you have!! 😊😊😊

I personally have a lot of tattoos, one down my back and on my spine, some on my thighs, one on my shoulder, and two on my ribs. the others were very easy and pain free, but the one on my ribs hurtttttt sooo bad and it only took like ten minutes. its slightly bigger than the one youre looking at getting. it'll look phenomenal but just know it'll sting.

It really depends on your pain tolerance. It's widely accepted that the ribs are one of the most painful spots to get tattooed. BUT don't let that discourage you if that's really where you want it. It's painful, yes, but the pain is temporary and nothing you can't handle!

Don't get the tattoo based on pain, every artist and tattoo person will tell you that. If you want it, get it where it looks best and best serves its purpose with regards to meaning and if you want to be able to hide it.

The pain is tolerable lol. I have a VERY high pain tolerance, but I've had scaredy cat friend that decided to get a tattoo and she was fine. its literally not bad at all. I personally love the feeling of getting tattoos lol. It
