This is probably a stupid question but would my hair go curly if I were to spray my straightened hair with sea salt spray would is become waves or would it just become wavy?

I personally don't use sea salt spray because I'm very curly and I have a feeling itll make it overly wavy. I wouldnt recommend you use a heat tool to make the waves instead.

@larac I'm only a 2c/3a and I've straightened my hair. Tomorrow will be 3rd day hair and I was hoping I could spritz it while it's straight.

I would think, in my personal experience at least, that the water- even with salt- would just bring back your natural curl texture and just dry it out due to the salt.

Gabby is spot on. If you want to do a beachy waves and have the patience for a little DIY I would take a 4 ounce spray bottle and fill it halfway with water, a few drops of vegetable glycerin and 6 drops of aloe vera liquid. Shake it up and spritz throughout your hair. Don't drench it but just enough to lightly coat the hair. Braid it up in a ponytail and keep it in overnight. The next morning when you unbraid it you will have yourself some waves. The glycerin and aloe vera liquid you can find in a local health food store. It will not dry out your hair. And it can also double as facial spray as well after applying your makeup and you want to cancel out the dry powder look.
