I've always loved my matte finish on my face makeup but lately I've seen the highlights & I kind of wanted to try some (no I don't mean high lighting & contouring just the highlight makes it look like a dewy finish) I was wondering if I can get some options on what products to try out to get this effect? Also would this look good for oily skin? Thank you & also I don't want something so expensive either just to try it because I'm not sure if it'd look all that good on me.

I don't know if Hourglass might be out of your budget, but their Ambient Lighting Palette is awesome! It gives the perfect glow.

You could try adding a cream/liquid highlighter in with your foundation or under your foundation for a pretty dewy finish. Rimmel got to glow liquid highlighter is nice or the travel size mac strobe cream. Most drugstore brands has liquid and powder highlighters you can try. You can add extra to tops of cheek bones, cupids bow etc.too. I like to do this sometimes but not all the time as I have oily skin so I've had to experiment getting the right balance of dewyness over looking like I've very oily skin. It does look good but add a bit of powder to your oily areas first :-)

I love the NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic. It's affordable but gives a nice glow to the skin without looking overpowering (:

I love my cargo hd illuminator, it's a cream in stick form. It's relatively inexpensive and you get soooo much product. And it's such a beautiful finish, no glitter, just a pretty sheen.

I've been using a pigment from makeup geek called afterglow as a highlight, it's soooooo nice! and it's only around 8 or 9 dollar$!🐜

If you wear bb/cc cream (like myself, although I use Korean brands since it suits my Asian skin better), I always use a concealer 2 shades lighter than my skin tone under my cc cream to give a highlighting effect while it looks natural and is easy to blend :) A lot of Korean bb/cc creams can give you a healthy dewy look (if you don't use powder). Apply bb/cc cream with a damp sponge and it'll look dewy and healthy! You can also try Korean cc cushion foundations. They are stunning :)
