I would not reccomend taking hair vitamins unless you have consulted with a doctor because you can get very sick. Hair thickness is based on genetics, but some thinga you can do to make sure it's 100% healthy for its absolute best growth is not brush hair when wet, use hair masks once a week or so, drink lots of water, eat healthy, ALWAYS use a heat protectant and braid your hair when you go to bed so you have a less of a chance of damaging your hair.

I'm sorry to hear about that. I do agree on consulting and talking to your doctor about the hair thinning, oil massages do help to encourage growth meanwhile... at least 5 minutes a day can help! I did them all the time when I needed my hair to grow out and they really helped.

I've been using Alterna's volumeizer and it works really well. http://www.alternahaircare.com/mobile/products-details.php?I'd=1 I've got fine hair and it never weighs it down.

A good friend of mine has lupus, and I've watched her deal with this. It's not easy, but there's definitely some great resources and support on the internet. Sometimes it helps to know you're not alone.
