It will honestly just take time. I had his problem when I lived up in Flagstaff, haha. try to put on a good lip moisturizer, or balm, and keep a decent distance from fires. just dress warmly. I put on my moisturizer maybe six times a day. minimum. it took me about two weeks to heal, but I have a delayed healing time..it may be about a week. new skin will have to form and take over and then you will have to protect it.

Emily is right,it's a process. I live in Vegas it's a dry area my lips get like this when winter hits because of the sudden change I just put the little Vaseline lip therapy constantly thru out the day even around my lip as dumb as it looks lol it helps a lot with the dryness & cracked areas. Stay warm :)

I always have this problem in the winter time, or when I'm really stressed out, and Nivea usually works for me. But since you're having such a problem you might try this instead. Vaseline, Neosporin, Blistex, Carmex, etc. never work for me, they only make it worse.

Try using papaw ointment. It's a great little cream
