WHAT is the point? I've tried to like mine, but I feel like it does nothing for my hair. It makes it flat on the top and static in the rest.

agree, my friend convinced me to get one saying it would help my hair grow and help spread the natural oils... it does the exact same thing to my hair. I use it to pull my hair in a tight bun for ballet class and that is it.

At least it's not just me! haha.. I tried using it to spread the natural oils like on 2nd or 3rd day hair and it doesn't do a thing but smush my hair down to my head.

I love mine. I use it to slick back my hair for updos. I have zero issue with static though.

It's literally to smooth the hair back and get a sleek look.also it adds shine to the hair
