Hey ladies
I need inspiration for my style in winter :)
I love a rocking style. Does anyone of you have some ideas or/and pictures?

Thank you!

And #4 :) You might have to sacrifice some style for warmth, or vice versa. Sadly it's just how Winter works. I hope I helped :) Xx

Alina, what's the winter like where you are from? I'm from the Midwest and so I take my winter warmth/skin seriously. What many consider Winter is instead Fall gear in the Midwest so I was just curious what sort of Temps you would be looking at.

Where I live its brutal come winter time so only one or two of these outfits would work for me :( sadly sweaters and peaxoats are out by the end of sept to mid October but you can still rock a parka and look hella good ;)

Well I don't like winter..
I am looking for a khaki colored parka :)
Where do you live Raylene?

I'll have a look around and see if I can find some images close to what I wear in sub-zero temps. The last two winters have been brutal with so many days far below freezing that I've had to amp up my warmth and protect my skin.

Raylene, I'm surprised you can't do a peacoat if it is made from pure wool mid-winter. I have never been cold in one. I think layers work well in the midwest, but I love that we can do skirts with insulated tights or thick tights with insulated "socks" built right in on the foot. That is a game changer for me.

What are your style tastes in general?
What is your lifestyle like? Are you looking for workwear or weekend wear and do you use public transportation or have long periods where you are outdoors, as I do...where staying properly warm is a matter of health and safety...or are you using a vehicle in which you are hopping in and out of and just are looking for cute outfits to get to and from school/work? A student wardrobe is going to be quite different and how you travel and how much time you spend outdoors factor into wardrobe, as you know.

That would be great!
Maybe I will try the insulated tights.
Most of the time I wear black, grey and/or white :)
I never wear colored things. Maybe just khaki sometimes.

Fleece Lined Leggings are stylish and warm. This site has many winter knit/lined leggings and ships internationally, but you may be able to find local shops/department stores that offer them.
https://www.worldofleggings.com/warm-leggings/

They have lined faux leather as well as relaxed, knit jogger styles.

I have these fleece-lined tights, which is perfect for skirts and dresses mid-winter. They also make thermal varieties and vary in fleece thickness. For examlle, these have a soft, thin fleece lining.

My pleasure. I hope you can find them..and I'm sure you will.
I saw you were seeking a khaki parka. I believe this shop is in Germany and they have 8 pages of Parkas..including a variety pf Khaki shades. I'm not sure of your budget, but it might be worth a peek. Good luck!

I wear some thin tights under my stretchy jeans/jeggins/black pants,a t-shirt or those shirts with spaghetti straps under a sweater (can be a more fancy one/chunky knit/wool),thermo socks,a scarf/beanie and I top it all with my black suede aviator style jacket with that kind of "lamb fur" lining on the inside... Other outerwear I find warm are fake/real fur coats that are always in style depending on the model of the coat itself... For casual wear,I use my feather-filled regular sporty jacket in black... Shoes are also important,if there's ice on the ground-no heels ofc,I don't want no broken bones lol... And I make sure the shoes have that fake fur/fleece lining inside, and if possible,be waterproof

Also I find shoes with fatter soles,or a platform (dr martens, chunky heeled booties etc) get wet harder than for example oxford type of shoes that usually have thin soles... I see girls here wear a lot of rubber boots (Hunter ones) cause they're waterproof, but I don't personally like them, not my style,I'm more of an all-black-chunky heels girl.

Alina, it's all about layering! Get a slim black leather Moro jacket, a silk long sleeve tee, a warm cream infinity scarf, and a large stadium cloth coat, look for one in a bold, bright color, like Royal blue or emerald or my fave, amethyst. Wear dark skinnies with heeled ankle booties and calf socks, and invest in a pair of cashmere gloves/mittens and a hat. French Connection has great hat options! Good luck :)
