So now that it is fall and the weather is getting colder here in Chicago my hair is getting very dry. I have color treated hair blonde highlights I'm getting my hair trimmed in the next couple days to get all of the split ends. I have been noticing that my hair is frizzy and dry. It seems very coarse even though I don't use any tools on it but I don't know what to do so that I can link up with nice hair. I want some sort of styles that I can do to my hair that won't be the imaging and don't require a lot of heat or require no heat. Or any hair products that you think might help me out with my problem. Thanks ladies.

Following. I think the Pureology Hydrate Line is bomb...shampoo, conditioner and their Hydrate Shine Max..which is killer.

I also love the Loreal Repair Mask and Organic, Cold Pressed Coconut Oil. It's a 10 with Keratin is divine as well.
Always eager to hear what is working for other members...especially with Winter approaching.
I saw Kitty just posted a DYI hair mask that looks pretty stellar and simple.

Does anyone know any heat free hairstyles?

Definitely ditch the Suave, I have heard awful things about how bad it is for your hair and scalp! I recommend L'Oreal Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioners. The Ever- lines, EverPure, EverStrong, etc. they are all great just bdependa what you are wanting. I also think Pureology is a great line too, just depends on how much you want to spend. I also highly recommend Its a 10 Plus Keratin, its an amazing leave in conditioner and I do heat styling everyday and it saves my hair, since I've been using it for 2 years now I don't have to get my hair trimmed nearly as much and it looks so shiny and much healthier. Its a little expensive but a big bottle usually last me 4-5 months. Definitely do some hair mask as well and I also recommend L'Oreal Ever- lines. As for hairstyles, I think braids are your best bet, but check out Pinterest, they have tons of heat free ideas.

Macadamia has an amazing hair mask that makes my hair so shiny, soft, and frizz free! And oh my gosh smells sooo good! I just used it right now and I feel like a unicorn has blessed my hair. Anyway try that out! It's at ULTA. Deeply nourishing mask or something along those lines. I agree switch the shampoo to that Loreal sulfate free like. They're in pretty metallic green and purple tubes from what I remember.
