Every primer I use on my eyes results in my eyelids becoming super dry and sometimes flakey. They sometimes get red and burn when I try to put shadow on them. Any suggestions for a primer that will not dry out my lids or will even moisturize them?

Urban Decay has an anti-aging version. I haven't used it, but I would assume it shouldn't be drying if it's for more mature skin. I would definitely moisterize your lids at night. A gentle eye cream , coconut oil or even Vaseline.

I use Perfekt Eye Perfection Gel as a lid and undereye primer...to my actual primer. It comes in clear and a few tinted shades. It is on the pricey side, so I'd hit up Sephora for a sample to try with your existing primer. It has a cooling, depuffing and brightening effect that smoothes the lid and undereye..keeping creasing at bay.
What do you use to moisturize your eyes and lids daily/nightly?
As for a stand alone primer, Too Faced Shadow insurance is my current fav, but mad props to Milani which doesn't dry me out.
