Hey Shannie, what brands do you have available in Denmark? I'm always suggesting things that people can't get... ;)

I don't have curls myself but my mother-in-law has some crazy curls - she had the hardest time finding shampoo and conditioners to work for her hair - unfortunately I don't remember what brand she end up using (I can ask) but I know she found out that she needed one that was completely sulfate and silicon free!
Haha I know what wasn't a lot of help ;)

You were a lot more helpful than me Sabrina... and of course you both live in the same country so you can be sure of what's available :)

I may be mistaken, but I don't think Redken offers sulfate free shampoos, which are the best for curls. I'm not sure if these are available in your country, but SheaMoisture and DevaCurl have excellent shampoos and connditioners for curly hair! If you don't have those, any sulfate free products, particularly ones with conditioning oils (argan, coconut, etc) will be excellent for her curls!

Hmmm... I'm about to go to my aunt's salon now, so I can ask her. I know she loves joico!
But why doesn't she like sulfate-free shampoos? Does she feel like they're not cleaning the hair well enough? Because those have been the best kinds of shampoos for my curly hair and I don't ever want to go back. My curls have been so healthy and bouncy and glossy ever since I made the switch :)
This kind of shampoo doesn't lather as much but they do their job just as well if you put a little more work with your hands. Maybe reading a bit on the subject will give her some knowledge on why sulfate free preserves curls better.
Honestly, I don't want to recommend a product with sulfates.
Here in Italy we don't have Redken or Sexy Hair and Tigi is always extra expensive...
My favorite shampoo is Shea Moisture's Moisture Retention Shampoo... it's awesome! My hair is still fairly short but I don't even need conditioner when I use it! I believe you can find it on Boots' international website, I've made purchases from there before. Another one I love is Argan oil of Morocco by Organix, which I actually bought at Boots.

Let me know if you can click on the links! I made sure I set the shipping country as Denmark but check first because maybe you always have to choose it yourself.

I have curly hair and some years ago I used redken, those for curly hair are in a blue bottle and I liked it paired with a smoothing conditioner that comes in a golden bottle. That conditioner is totally amazing.

Quite honestly anything that I have tried that's sulfate free dried out my curls so bad! My favorite one I've had so far is by Nexxus and it was an intense moisture one. I live in a really dry climate though so that could be why I've had issues with sulfate free. Hope that helps!
