Hey lovelies! I'm not really too sure if this is where this post needs to be. I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place. Next week I'm flying for a quick overnight trip for my husbands military ceremony so I'm not planning on checking my bag. I was wondering if anyone knew if I can carry my foundation, primer and mascara on or if anyone has had any experience doing this. I would hate to lose my makeup at security! Thank you!

You can. I was worried so I asked last minute the last two flights I took if I should put all my makeup in my check bag. they told me both times that it's fine in my carry on. if it's a liquid and over 3.4Oz then it's iffy but less than and you're gold.

Awesome thank you ladies! I just wanted to make sure because makeup is expensive and I don't want to have to throw it away!

On more question! What are the restrictions on pen eyeliners? I have the KVD ink liner. Should I put that in the quart bag as well or do you think it will be fine outside of the bag?

Anything loose liquid under 3 ounces is fine. I've flown with my makeup kit before and was shaking thinking they were Going to take it [I would've had a fit]

BUT one time flying they pulled me and another girl aside they tried to take my BB cream and her Nars foundation... I think it depends on who's checking the bags.

I fly a lot and I've taken makeup that's over three oz and never had a problem and I never put it in the clear plastic baggy either. The only time I had a problem was shampoo big it was a large bottle. I never check my makeup either and it's always in my carry on. Who are you flying with?

You should be fine. But if you're hesitant go to this website: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/liquids-rule
Anything you need to know about what is allowed on the plane you can find here. All airlines use this policy. Good luck!

Southwest is probably the most relaxed airline. You'll be fine. I flew with perfume in September and no one stopped me.

You can always look online on their website. Normally airlines list somewhere their restrictions and limits on items.
