Here are the products I currently use:
• neutrogena skin clearing foundation in classic ivory.
• Revlon Colorstay concealer in fair
• Revlon photoready translucent powder

I have a routine that makes these products look natural for now, but I really need something lighter. even the "fair" colored stuff looks orange on me. Any pale beauties out there that can point me in the right direction?

Hi miranda!! I'm like a little ghost and I use l'oreal infallible, their lightest shade and its sooo good. it might be called number 10ivory...I can't remember. I will check. but I'm a 1.5 in Urban Decay naked skin, and there's a 1.0 or a 0.5 which would probably be great for you. also their concealer is amazing and not too orange, its light/warm I think. god I will have to check when I get home or maybe the lovely Sabrina.K will see this, she has the same ones ;)

I really like Sonia Kashuk's radiant tinted moisturizer in fair. It's sheer enough so that your skin color shows through, but has enough coverage to even everything out. I use it with maybelline fit me concealer in fair to cover up extra where needed.

I personally have had good luck with Loreal true match for foundation, I use the shade w1 :)

L'Oreal is your best shot and wet and wild has a great highlight and contour kit.

If you find a foundation you really love and it's just not light enough a few companies make white foundation specifically to mix in and lighten.

I'm incredibly pale and I'm a 0.5 in Urban Decay naked skin, fair in Collection lasting perfection concealer, N1 in L'Oreal True Match (a little tiny bit too dark but okay with my Collection concealer and fab in the summer), fair in Collection lasting perfection pressed powder.

I have tried just about every drugstore brand and Sephora stocked foundation over the years on my pale skin matching mission! I currently am using Urban Decays Naked Skin foundation in.5 which has a lovely pale pinkish undertone as to avoid that orange or yellow look. I would also reccomend the Maybelline FitMe consealer in Fair as it is an amazing product at a fantastic price point compared to most. If you are looking for a fuller coverage fondation I would recommend Kat Von D as her line carries a wonderful range of pale shades.

I was just going to point out what Aubreeanna stated inadvertantly in her post. Odds are that it is more to do with you having a cool rather then warm skin tone. Trust me when I say it will help incredibly if you specifically look for Cool tone foundations. Dior and Chanel both make some fabulous ones, so does Guerlain. Not sure what your budget is, but if you can splurge I'd definitely look at DiorSnow BB cream, it's much higher coverage then you'd expect and it's an excellent foundation for pale skinned ladies with pink undertones. wish you luck. I know the struggle is real.  :)

Ooh! and not that it'll help you but if you want I've got about a dozen foundations I can swatch for you on my arm, a few are warm toned and you'll be able to see what I mean about how different it is. Hope That Helps.

My go-to pale shades:

-Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly
-RCMA Creme Foundation in Ivory
-MUFE Ultra HD Foundation in Y205

The Urban Decay foundation is a tad darker than these other options, but 0.5 is still very pale as well. The UD concealer in fair neutral is very pale, but a bit on the yellow side. I haven't found anything at the drugstore pale enough.

I'm a bit lighter (after it oxidizes) and a bit less pink thank MAC NW10, for reference.

I've also had a huge truble with finding a foundation and nothing except the loreal true match really worked so in the end I cracked and bought a white foundation and started mixing it with others I found. now I buy the lightest shade of any foundation I like and mix it with a few drops of white when I use it.

So many options lol. besides a little bit of redness around my nose I really would say that I take better to warm tones, or something with a yellow base rather than pink, even though I am so pale. I don't have a problem tanning in the summer, I don't burn, I just choose not to get too much sun anymore. so, I do use warm tones, if that helps any c:

If you are on the warm side maybe give MAC NC15, Loreal True Match W1 and Urban Decay Naked Skin 1.0 a try. As some of the other ladies have pointed out, if they're still a touch too dark, white foundation mixed in works wonders.

Miranda, just to point out, if you are indicating in your original post that these are too orange for you and you are very pale, it's still likely you have cool toned skin. Not all pale girls are incapable of tanning, I'm guessing since you said your not pink, you may be a cool toned with an ashy or blue undertone. I just looked at your profile pick and even though it's difficult to tell from photos, you don't appear to have a warm tone, likely neutral or cool.

I did do some looking into it after I said warm. I watched some YouTube videos and such. and yes, I'm not exactly warm. I'm definitely NOT cool. I have no pink undertones at all, only some redness around my nose and such. I figure I'm neutral. and if anything I lean toward warm.
