How is a beautyblender compared to a brush?
It looks fairly simple. I don't want to be getting something like that for $25 unless I know if it's worth it.

I don't like using brushes, I only use sponges
I really like the beauty blender, but there are other sponges out there that's just as good for cheaper, like the real techniques makeup sponge

I love my beauty blender! I haven't used any of the dupes so I can't compare it to them but I just love the flawless, streakless finish that the BB gives

I just got an original beauty blender and honestly I'm not impressed. To me its not worth the money. I Had a dupe from a brand called M-cosmetics (danish I think) which preforms just the same. I know that a lot of dupes have to hard of a surface to performe the same so it takes some time to find a good dupe. But I'm not getting a BB again.

I honestly hate it. Feels like the sponge sucks in more product than it applies. I prefer using my brushes.

Never tried the original beauty blender but the real techniques sponge I love. Guess it all depends on how it works with your makeup but what I do is apply my liquid products with my brush & blend it out with my sponge so it doesn't show the strips from the brush.

I've never tried the original bb but I love the rt version and another one I got at tk maxx (I forget the name of it :-/) They blend concealer and foundation out nicely and creates an airbrushed look!
I'm interested in trying the original bb though but I just can't seem to spend around 30euro on a sponge!!

I love my BB, haven't tried dupes but I will be repurchasing soon due to how well blended it leaves my foundation, concealer, and contour (:

I tried a Tj maxx one and the real techniques one and the RT is amazing. Definitely will be repurchasing. I did purchase a beauty blender a week ago however it's so pretty clean I can't seem to get myself to use it😂 I'm going to wait until I have an event that I'm doing my makeup for lol.

I find that my bb seems to suck up some products. I did find a near perfect dupe, with just a teeny bit more density. It's 10$(US) and feels so nice! It's by rickyscare and I love it. Either way, just try to keep it clean. I like to clean mine biweekly

Its worth it to me because I don't use it to 'apply" my foundation. I prefer a brush. But I like to use the BB just to finish up at the end to make sure everything is smooth. I will often use it to thin out my foundation if it looks too heavy. Since I don't use it very heavily, it lasts a long time.
