Hello lovelies,
I have been doing the "no poo" hair care method for about 3 years. At first my hair had a slight bo sent to it, now my hair smells weird. Lately I have noticed a floral smell coming from my scalp. It isn't unpleasant smelling, just really unusual since I haven't sprayed any perfume or body spray onto my hair. I am now at 15 days between hair washes and the smell stays with my hair up to wash day, then disappears and returns 2 days after wash. I am perplexed at what could be causing it. Any ideas or theories on what could be causing it?

Do you use other styling products? That could be it... Or your soap? Or maybe the detergent from your pillowcases? I'm not really sure just throwing out ideas... It could just be some chemical reaction your natural odor is having with something in your surroundings but I don't think it's cause for concern

Are your hairbrushes and combs picking this scent up from somewhere and transferring it to your hair. Sniff around your purse or wherever you stash your hair supplies-maybe?
