I have really dark brown hair(most people believe it is black but it's NOT!!) It is a bit passed my shoulders in length but not by much. I think ombre hair is really cute and I wanted to try it and was wondering what color the ends should be. I was thinking a burgundy red but I'm not too sure. I also don't want anything that would damage my hair so if anyone has any suggestions to do it in a way with the least amount of damage that would be great! Thanks for the feedback!!

Ruhi, with your wedding approaching, I would be very careful and hesitant to make such a drastic change right now. Your hair is beautiful! You, of course, can change your hair as you wish, but I'd make a more subtle change this close to a huge event. A nice cut for hair health..but still keeping it very long..perhaps a gloss to give it shine is a better place to begin right now. Do you have a stylist that is experienced who you see routinely?

I think the best way to find out what ombré color would look best on you is to go try on some wigs. You might even decide that ombré hair isn't your thing after all and you'll save your hair from being damaged because you will have to bleach it in order to get any kind of ombré.

As Roz said definitely wait till after your wedding to make a drastic change like that. When you do do it make sure that the stylist knows exactly what's she's doing. Even though you do want a burgundy color you will have to bleach it to get it to show up.

I do think you would love a gloss treatment because your hair is already so healthy. It leaves a glorious shine and is a nice addition to a cut when you want to treat yourself. :)

I think a light brown ombré would look good with long pretty hair!
