I hate Christmas sometimes, I really do...such a financial nightmare...

I normally use bareMinerals Matte powder foundation every day. I'm almost out, and I can't afford to buy a new pot right now. I was thinking of grabbing NYX's Stay Matte But Not Flat powder foundation compact. People say it's full coverage...is it? What are your thoughts on it? Or is there anything better I can use? I have oily, pale skin (NC15) with a lot of redness to cover in my cheeks.

I have this foundation and I love it! They have powder ones too for the true match. It's 11 dollars on their site but I think it's cheaper depending on what store you get it at.

As for your redness use a green color concealer/corrected

I used to use True Match. I love it to death but it's not suitable for work, because no matter how good a primer or setting spray I use, it cakes and gets greasy on my face because of all the heat & humidity I'm exposed to. It was particularly bad in the summer because I always broke out - switching to bareMinerals really saved my skin. Powder foundation is definitely preferred, I don't get as oily throughout the day and it's quicker for me to apply, plus it's best at giving me that super-matte look I prefer.

As for green concealer, I use NYX's full coverage concealer in green (it's in a pot) and it only does so much...it reduces, doesn't necessarily eliminate the redness.

Maybe you could get a sample from a makeup counter just to last you a little longer.

Or check the clearance section for bare minerals. Sometimes they have sets that are reduced cost. It may be a smaller size but could last until you're in a better financial situation.
