If I'm doing a heavy eye look, I'll do eyeshadow first to avoid fallout sticking to me. If it's a more neutral day I'll do foundation first and go over my eye area with it so there is less to clean up.

I've been wondering this for the longest time, too! I hear that some people do them eyeshadow first to avoid any fallout messing up their foundation, however I've always felt awkward putting my eyes on before my face, but that's just me.

Foundation first but I have heard that you should do eyeshadow first then foundation cuz if you mess up on eyeshadow you can fix it when you put on foundation but I'm in a habit of doing it the opposite!😉

I do the majority of my eye shadow first, then foundation, then mascara. Then I tweak the shadow after the mascara. Sometimes your eye shape & shadow work can look different after you apply mascara.
