Okay so I know it's not good to wash your hair every single day but every time I wash it, I wait every other day to wash it again and it's still oily and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

You can use dry shampoo - I only wash my hair 2 (sometimes 3) times a week and my hair doesn't really get oily in between washes anymore. If you keep up the not washing everyday your hair will eventually get used to it and not produce as much oil. But in the meantime dry shampoo is awesome to soak up oil :)

Exactly what sabrina says.
Also don't used shampoo for oily hair cuz it rips off and causes your scalp to produce ever more sebum

Use dry shampoo in between washes when your hair gets oily. I highly recommend Batiste, I used it on Monday and my hair is just staring to feel oily after not washing it for a week.

Also, when you do wash your hair, why not just lather up your scalp only and don't actually put shampoo along the length of your hair. Of course some shampoo will get onto the middle and ends but not as much as the scalp. After all, the middle and ends of your hair is the oldest hair and the most vulnerable to damage. You don't have to do this at every shampoo, just experiment and see much you can get away with.
