Ok...how dark is dark? Is she my complexion? I truly believe that darker skintones can rock just about every shade in the rainbow (except for stark white) when it comes to eye looks. I've been loving golds and pewter as of lately on myself. I'm even trying to play around with hot pink/fuchsia.

I agree with Erin, especially about the gold. Dark complexions can really rock the golden goddess look!

Golds, fawn, and copper cream shadows look gorgeous on dark skin. Also, you can pull of jewel tones like amethyst and sapphire. Avoid red, though-- it makes the eyes itself look red, which is kinda gross :)
An alternative to shadows is colorful liner. I absolutely love a thin line of bright liner in just about any color (just not red, haha) on the bottom lashline. The top lashline works too, but the bottom is more unexpectedly chic. :)
