I got out of wearing makeup for a while. and now I am contouring.
but as a girl, we all know that we have our moments of doubt.
I have a round face and was wondering if you ladies had any tips?
stuff like: how do I not get so much brown on the arch of my forehead when applying bronzer. it always seems to stick to wherever I put it on my forehead and doesn't want to blend.
do you use a primer?
etc. what are your beauty tips for contouring?

Well firstly you shouldn't be using a bronzer to contour as they're too warm to create the shadow effect that you're trying to achieve with contouring.
If you don't already use a primer I suggest using one and make sure your foundation is fully blended and has set before trying to contour.
The usually places to contour are under the cheekbones, the chin, jawline, forehead, and sides of the nose. You can pick and choose what places you contour as you may need to/don't feel the need to contour certain areas (for example, I don't contour my forehead because I don't feel that I need to with my face shape).
Contour under the cheekbones to slim the face and give your cheeks more definition.
Contour your chin and jawline to make them look sharper.
Contour your forehead to make it appear smaller.
Contour the sides of your nose to make it appear taller and thinner.
Personally I use the Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette to contour using the shade Sombre. I use a Real Techniques Contour Brush to apply and blend my contour to my cheekbones, chin, and jawline, and use a MAC 217 to apply and blend my contour to the sides of my nose.

Hi jalin! my first advice is to try to make it simple and natural, if it's a new thing for you.
I have the same problem, I make a double-step contouring, for the first step I use a cold brown-taupe making a little, short and defined line going from the middle of my ear (I countour only this area for a natural looking). with a larger and softer brush I take a warmer bronzer and apply it over the colder one, then blend.
the imaginary line you have to follow is from the middle of your ear (even when you apply blush) to your nose, so you make your face less round.
I don't have any contour palette, I use some brow powder or eyeshadow matte and then a simple bronzer and a highlight.
This Is the easiest thing that I can suggest you, but you'll see the difference!
blend very well and follow your style
