We are having an 80's day tommorow at school,and I'm a procrastinator so I didn't plan my outfit,hair,makeup,etc.😁
Any ideas? I'm thinking of wearing a leather jacket I have with colorful jewelry if that looks 80's-ish? (And we are only allowed to wear jeans for bottoms) I appreciate all ideas!

Which 80's look are you going for? There was the hair band/metal girls, Madonna and Lauper fans, Pat Benetar...then the Nu Wave glam...the Valley Girls... I agree a jacket pic would help.

Big hair! Maybe wear rollers (curlers?) to bed and spray the heck out of it in the morning. Definitely bright but flat colored jewelry. BIG earrings. For makeup you can look on YouTube and stuff, but if you want to make it easy on yourself you can do the typical 80's blue eyeshadow and bright pink lips. True, there's a big difference between what the actual 80's were like and what we portray them to have been like in costumes, but who cares, that just takes away the fun in my opinion! Jeans are kinda limiting, do you have a band shirt? Like Aerosmith or Journey or whoever else was big back then. All of that put together would be perfect! Oh and girl! Tight roll your jeans. It's obligatory. LOL!

I don't think ya really need to costume the 80's up. They were pretty flashy.?? I friggin' love "The Wedding Singer", which included most every look. The Cure...so good.

Ohhh...yes! Metal for the win! Save the bright jewelry if you go metal. That was usually about black, white, silver, gold or pewter. Hoops were big, as were big ole' Chandelier style earings. Jeans are fine with boots...and half tops, rock jerseys, black lace..also big with metal..as was the hair. Black liner...ahhhh...

Ok,I found a black Elvis Presley shirt that finally came in handy,which I can wear with the jacket. And I got some big gold chandelier style earings. So exciting😆Thanks for the help,everyone!
