Best shades of lipstick for fair skin tone.

I've been trying to find the right shade of lipstick that matches my skin tone. I have blonde hair and very light skin, I've tried using multiple shades of red and find that it makes me look washed out. I don't know if I should be looking for pastel colors or more vibrant ones. I've found a lipstick "Kate" by Rimmel London.. it's a darker shade of pink and it works with my skin tone better than the ones I've tried but I still have to dab it off quite a bit after applying for it to look right.. any suggestions?

Macs ruby woo is suitable for all skintones in my opinion!

Hmm I find that CP Avenue Liquid lipstick looks great against my skin! I agree with Danica on Ruby Woo however it can be a bit bright- depending on your undertone. Here is a photo with it on for reference 😁

I have fair skin as well. If you have Conde hair and blue eyes you probably have a cool skin tone like I do. I've actually found the I can pull off *any* lip color---including darker colors---as long as they are cool-toned. Warm tones always wash me out. I use temptalia.com to help me determine what lipsticks are cool toned. I'll put a link to a couple of threads where I list my lipsticks that I love.
