I don't have server acne but every now and then I will get some spots, recently I broke out around my chin but it seems to be under the skin and it's sort of painful. I don't really know how to treat it or make it go away?

Anneliease, I've made quite a breakthrough why we get acne on chin. It's usually hormonal, mine gets worse during the time of the month. Although I went to my naturopath for a totally different reason but she gave me an amazing supplement using seeds. It's called seed cycling. It's used to stabilize hormone, and I haven't gotten any crazy acne on my chin which is surprising because all my life I've always had chin acne lol I would love to explain some more if you are interested.

Thank you! You are too🙌, so you just basically rotate the seeds every 15 days?

Yes! I start the pumpkin flax chia on the day I get period. If you can purchase a good quality fish oil, it's very beneficial for skin as well!

I do not see the picture :( but I'd like to know how do you use the seed, drink? boil? in the morning? I'd like to try it

Ooh I see now! sorry! but how do you prefer to prepare the seeds?

I just like to ground the flax. Then mix with chia seed and put it in a Tupperware to mix in my yogurt or oatmeal in the morning. Then just take out half tbs or 1 tbsp and mix in yogurt, Really good with yogurt! Whenever I want the pumpkin seed I just eat it that way without grounding it. The sunflower/sesame doesn't need to be grounded either! I would not skip the fish oil, I use seroyal brand but I believe your local health food store have tons of good ones!

You're welcome! As anything that is working from inside the body you have to give it time to see results!

Livi can you please explain what you were doing? And how to do this.?
Did this actually help youv

I just explained it above Samantha that's all I did, and it took me about a month to see a difference. 15 days of 1 tbsp mix of ground flax/chia/pumpkin, in yogurt or oatmeal or soup or anything you like. I also took 1 tsp of good quality fish oil I use seroyal brand daily. I start this cycle on the first day of period.
Then 15 days of sesame/sunflower seed (I just eat these normally without anything lol) I either continue fish oil or switch to primrose oil capsule if I have it around.
I'll be honest I tried this without any expectation thought my naturopath was insane and I just wasted money going to her lol. But I thought what do I have to lose? And within a month on my next period, I surely knew my chin acne was going to come but it didn't. And it didn't come back at all. I'm now on my 3rd month, and no acne on chin still. It really does balance hormones. I don't know how but I'm not complaining considering these seeds last a while and can be purchased in bulk at Fred Meyers or winco. Give it a try, you won't have anything to lose!
