So I outline and fill in my eyebrows, and without doing that they're a terrible shape and patchy.
Usually they look pretty nice but I have some improvements to do for sure.
One of my main concerns is that like if I have any expression other than "resting bitch face" my eye brows look super misshaped and drawn on.
Like if a raise my eyebrows they just look weird.
I don't really notice this on other people so I know there must be something I can do to make them more natural.

And don't make it too straight/clean-cut

Maybe you're drawing an entire different shape for your brows instead of following the natural brow. That can make it look drawn on. I personally would steer clear of outlining the whole, instead do only the tail and then try and blend product towards the inner part. Hairs don't make a straight edge line so if you're doing so it'll look fake.

I personally start in the middle. That's where my brows get a little patchy. I follow the shape of my brows and then fill them in with light stokes and if I get it too dark I sorta brush it to make or not so dark. after that I do the front then the tail and it works for me. if you're outlining and then filling it in instead of doing light strokes all through out the brow it can look fake instead of natural.

What are you using to fill in? I have the same problem so I get it. I recommend ABH Brow Wiz to fill in at first. Instead of drawing a line on the bottom all the way across (like most brow pic tutorials do) instead, draw light handed strokes upwards to mimic hairs. I agree with these other ladies, make sure you are beginning at the inner parts, I usually start at the ends or middle and work my way in. Do you have a picture of your brows to show how you usually do them? I also recommend using ABH Dipbrow or Powder (I personally think the Dipbrow works better for patchier brows, than the powder does).

So I looked at your pics on your profile and you have really nice brows! I would just change the inner parts, like I mentioned earlier start with the ends and work your way in. It helps not make them look so harsh. But the shape is nice, just go with a lighter hand; and also not the doing the horizontal line across helps not make it as harsh either. Just upward strokes to create as natural of a brow you can. And just follow your natural shape. You're gorgeous btw! 💕

Thanks for the tips! My biggest issue is definitely where they start , it's too angled off but the beginning of my brows are where my hair is the most scarce! I think I just need to line the tops up more by plucking so that I don't need to fill them in. I will try some of these tips tonight for sure! The Dipbrow is like the waxy stuff for brows right?

Definitely fill them out less on the front. Mine are exactly like yours, I have no hairs where my brows need to begin. I don't put and powder there at all or the dipbrow, just the pencil (barely). Dipbrow is more like a gel, its different than any other powder or similar mousses. Definitely get one of their brushes (I have the mini, I think its #7). As far as colors go, I think soft brown would probably be your best bet. Its kinda difficult to work with at first (you only need a tiny bit) but once you get the hang of it, its really easy. Concealer clean up is a must, and will help make them look softer and more natural.

With a fine detail brush you can draw in single hairs instead of straight across lines or you can use a brow marker such as the MAC Penultimate. Also, brushing your brows with a spoolie will create a more natural, soft look. If you prefer using a pencil, sharpen it very well and only fill in the more sparse areas. Check out Lisa Eldridge's video on YouTube called "My Eyebrow Philosophy and Routine" for tips :)

Well a big issue is that a have very patchy spots where my brows begin. This morning I tried just lightly filling from the middle outwards but it didn't look right since the beginning of my brows had such a difference. Like I pretty much have to draw the shape at the beginning or else it looks almost oval.
