A friend of mine tried it before and she said it's really good it's creamy and super black but the only downside is that it only last 5 hours without smudging whereas it's advertisement says it lasts 12 hours
But she has super oily skin so maybe that's the problem...

I have tried it and I was disappointed. as it promise of 12 hr smudge proof. it doesn't happened to me. my skin is oily so it doesn't stay very long.

I wanted to like it, but as the other ladies mentioned, the staying power isn't great. I do really like the new revlon kajal! I think it's in their photo ready line, but I could be mistaken.

I was disappointed because on the commercial it said that you would be able to use it on your top eyelash line and for me I just thought it was way to thick of a line for winged eyeliner so in my recent video on my channel I just used it for my lower lash line. For lower lash line is really creamy and nice I love it! Super pigmented

I know the whole purpose of higher-end kajal's like ysl's or laura mercier's is to smoke them out instead of trying to attempt solid lines, which they aren't meant for. They were also intended for the waterline as well. Just a suggestion, but maybe this explains the negative reviews of the product. I don't have personal experience with the maybelline, but it's the exact shape of the higher-ends & they work beautifully smoked out. Look up some videos to get an idea! As it probably is a decent product if used correctly.

I forgot to mention that using the kajal on its side rather than the tip generally produces best results.

I also understand what Kajal is for,I'm aware how to use and understand the texture many are suppose to be softer I have plenty of my fair share since the years of doing makeup no spring chicken here lol but this one product isn't the same at all its stiff like a crayon and will not show color on the waterline. ;)

Haha no not shouting at all, just expressing enthusiasm. My original comment was meant for no-one in particular because while it's great that you already know the intended use, others may not. Unfortunately it sounds like it's just a dud product.
