Hi, anybody faces dark underarm problems and has found ways or products that can whiten it effectively? I've been having it for years and having a hard time trying to whiten that area. There are slight stretch marks too!

Mine used to be dark until I started exfoliating and moisturizing that area - that helped me a lot - I use a sugar scrub by tree hut and then just moisturize the area - it helped lighten mine up.

I've been using the Dove deodorant and antiperspirant called even tone or something to that effect. I've been using it for quite a while now and I'm convinced it's working. It isn't strong when it comes to perspiration so if you're super sweaty like me they also make it in clinical strength:)

Ughhh I used to have them and were like YUCK but ever since I started using an epilator, the darkness reduced to like 60% and yes exfoliating helps too ( I use baking soda for it and afterwards it feels so soft) however don't forget to use a moisterizer. Hope it helped and goodluck *Hugs*

Same as Shanissa, they got lighter after I stopped shaving and started using the epilator. I exfoliate once a week with coconut oil and baking soda. waxing helps to because it gets rid of the dead cells.

Wow thanks everyone! I've also been going for ipl sessions for my hair removal and I've also been using scrubs but none seem to completely eliminate my dark underarms problem. It got better but it's still there. I thought cutting down on the use of deodorant could help as some have harmful chemicals in it, however I would smell really bad after a long day without the use of deodorant if I sweated a lot during the day. Any good recommendations of deodorants or ways to keep myself fresh without the use of deodorants? Thanks!

Baking soda works well as a deodorant actually - it won't keep you dry but it does keep the smell away.

OMG I have the best DIY for you!! I don't use deodorants at all! In the past after working out I used to smell like an ONION!! But ever since I tried the DIY that mom made me , things changed and my sweat comes out smelling nice too!! So you need a container where you can store it (mine lasted a whole year) put in a large bowl babies powder +baking soda + alum (crush it into a powder) + 1 musk cube (I grate it and I am not sure if you can find it ) + few drops of essential oil or perfume...mix them all together then store them in a cool dry place. Every morning after my shower I take a pinch of it then scrub my under arms with it. I can make it through the whole day still smelling good even though I do sweat! Try it you won't regret it!...sorry it is kinda long but I just know what you are going through lol...Good luck *Hugs*
