Prenatal pills to grow my hair?

My hair just got 4 inches chopped off when I went in to get a "trim". I've heard prenatal pills help grow your hair longer, healthier and faster! I just don't know if it really works. Any insight??

A doctor once told me to crush the pills up until they are very fine then add it to my shampoo. Sorry I never tried it, but that's one option. Or you can take a woman's multi-vitamin.
