Do prenatal pills really help your hair growth increase?

I went in to get a trim this summer and instead of taking of an inch, the stylist chopped off four! My hair is curly and I feel like it never gets past my shoulders no matter how long I grow it out for. I've hear prenatal pills help grow out hair and I'm willing to try, I just need a little insight!(:

Yes I had shoulder length hair and started taking prenatal vitamins when I got pregnant! My hair is now a inch below my bra.
