So I have started my period and school starts tomorrow and I wanted to wear skinny jeans and a cute plaid top and I can only wear pads... If you guys have any recommendations that would be VERY appreciated 😅

Oh Lord...I remember asking my friends over and over, "Can you see my pad?" They were going to kill me. haha Luckily pads now are crazy slim and come in varying lengths. You should have no problem using a thin pad with skinny jeans. Jean material is pretty thick anyway. You'll be fine. Good luck!

It depends if the plaid top covers up. If it's not long enough, the pad might show through.

You can get thin pads, however I don't recommend this if you have a very heavy flow otherwise you'll probably be changing it a lot. However, when I'm on my period I always wear something that will cover my behind as I'm always terrified of bleeding through. If your plaid top doesn't cover, you can always wear a loose cardigan that will cover.

I agree with everyone! I use the always ultra thin slender pads and I love them! There is like 100 in each pack, it's cheap, and cute packaging!!<3 good luck love.

If anything goes wrong, hope not, but you can wrap your plaid top around your waist so wear something underneath that your comfortable with wearing alone.

Girl trust me you'll be ok! I wear almost black jeans (just in case ya know) and a longer shirt or have a jacket with me. I always wear skinny jeans and pads its fine, I use the ultra slim. good luck!

What grade are you going into? Happy first day of school. Usually a good thing to check up as well is to also make sure the school nurse is in and may have back up pads in case. Your outfit should be fine and you will be too but you could pack a extra pair of leggings in your back pack or a longer shirt if anything were to happen. :)

I totally know what you are going through! I only wear pads as well! I use regular "teen" ones for school. Make sure to bring extras in your locker or book bag though just in case!

Hey laura?? Lol your not the only one! I've started like two months ago don't worry! its okay..I remember feeling like this..what j did was buy thin pads and there is one that doesn't have wings and it is very helpful for school.. by the way, the wings are the sides of the pad just in case you didn't know..but yeah and remember to change it every time you go to the bathroom..try to wear navy blue or black skinny jeans btw.. and if you want to, you can wear sweaters on your waist..like tied..or you can wear long cardigans and long shirts to cover your bottom.
