Hair styles for short-medium length hair?

So I've recently chopped my hair from quite long (the longest I've ever had it) to above my shoulders and I have no idea what to do with it! I shower in the morning and blow dry, and usually spend max ten minutes styling it, so can anyone give me ideas? Before and after length photos included, better of the length now coming soon.

Thank you! How would you recommend doing that? I have a curling wand - should I use that?

I agree with curls. A wand might be harder just because I have trouble doing that with my short layers on top. I would try a flat iron but you could also try the wand to see what's easier for you. Also braids and twist are cute. I'll try to find some pictures to show you. The link is a video of how to do curls for short hair and she also has tons of other styles on Pinterest and her blog.

I know some of these are long hair but they'll still work. Just simply putting on a headband or pinning parts back are easy and cute. I also recommend doing some teasing or blow drying your hair upside down to give you some more volume.
