Just like hair growth, thickness of hair is based on genetics and since you can't change genetics you can't make your hair become thicker.

^Agreed. But things you can do to make it seem thicker: layers, teasing, texture, surface highlights, blowdry upside down.

Teasing your roots up and hair spraying them can help give that illusion of thickness, or at least it does for me 😊 I use Biomega Volume Shampoo at my roots, I think that also helps. I've noticed that the more focus I put on root lifting, the thicker my hair starts to look. I've also heard good things about avocado hair masks, egg hair masks, and coconut hair masks. Keeping your hair very healthy is another way you could keep it looking thicker.
