For one, make sure you're moisturizing.
It doesn't have to be an oil free moisturizer. If anything, those ones make me more oily. Just use a good moisturizing lotion.
2. Try to see how it looks without primer and with primer. For me, I usually skip primer just cause it feels like an extra layer of oil but it doesn't do anything helpful unless I'm using a powder foundation.
2. Perhaps try the baking method, I find that this can make any foundation work for oily skin and last all day.
3. A setting spray. A good one is the KVD I've heard

The loreal pro matter works great! I have to second that!
The Rimmel Matte primer works decent. Just make sure your liquid isn't water based otherwise it will get cakey and won't set right.
Plus, be sure to let the primer absorb for about 5 minutes

Murad Oil Control Mattifer. I has an SPF of 15 in it but at the beginning of the summer I was using it in place of a primer and whoa does that stuff block oil from seeping thru makeup. It doesn't leave behind a powdery finish either which was my worry with the product and it played nice with all my various foundations as well.
