Okay, so I wanted to ask you guys that I don't have oily eye lids nor does my eyeshadow wear out. Will I still need to use a primer? Or is it just fine? Or if I won't will it damage my eye lids?

Primer really helps oils control and makes the shadows have more pigmentation and last longer. It won't damage your eyes if you don't use it, but I would recommend it :)

Well, if you don't need it, no point in spending money on it! For me, I don't have oil lids either, but over the course of a day, my eye shadow tends to collect in the crease and/or wear off so I DO use primer. For me, Urban Decay is my preferred brand. A little goes a very long way and lasts from early morning well into the evening - until I wash my face just before bedtime!

If you don't have oily lids or problems with creasing, primer can still benefit you. It can really bring out the pigmentation of your shadows, make blending easier and prolong the wear of your eyeshadows. If you're interested and don't want to spend a bunch of money to try it out, the fergie collection primer from wet n wild is super cheap, and works incredibly well. I've heard good things about elf's primer too, but I haven't tried it myself.

It depends on the person if you have oily lids you need it, if you have dry you may or may not need it, it depends on the person!

Will a white jumbo eye pencil work as a primer?

@Shiphrah, not being rude or anything but you really should ask questions like that in your own thred and not someone else's.  :)
