This is what I usually pack for trips. It's difficult I have a huge over packing problem but I try to stick to this
*foundation
*primer
*concealer I use la girl pro for cream h&c
*setting powder
*powder highlight
*powder contour
*powder bronzer
*2 or 3 blushes
(all of the powders except translucent are in a Z palette)
*eye primer
*Z palette for eyeshadows
*mascara
*falsies and glue
*gel liner and nude pencil liner
*3 lipsticks a nude, hot pink or coral and a red or dark wine
*Lipliners for those lipsticks
I usually like to bring deluxe sample sizes of as many products as I can so they don't take up much room and then of course I bring brushes, a daily brush cleaner, bb, eyelash curler, q tips

It depends on where I'm going what makeup I bring. For instance I took barely any makeup to Disney World and took a ton of makeup to VidCon. I usually match my lipsticks to the outfits I'm bringing with me that way I only bring the lipsticks I know I'm going to wear (:
