I've had these marks on my left check (near jawline and ear) for awhile and I was wondering what they were. Veins? How can I diminish the appearance and if they are veins why are they appearing? Thanks :)

Broken capillaries. You need to see a dermatologist to get rid of those. But you can try to prevent anymore from developing. Don't use any harsh cleansers or scrubs. And don't use hot water when washing your face. There are some anti-redness & calming cleansers and lotions on the market although I don't know how well they work. And of course, a good concealer to cover it.

Yes and if concealer doesn't work to cover up you can use color correcter.
