Add Pink Highlights?

Hey guys, I just did my hair about two weeks ago and I really like it but I was hoping it would be brighter. I'm trying to decide on whether or not I should add different shades of pink highlights. Thoughts and suggestions on pink dyes?

Maybe brighter fuschia highlights, I don't know why but I feel like pink would look a bit...weird/unmatched (I can't remember the word) with your hair color

I think pink would clash. I think it looks great now!

What if I put a bright pink over all of it for dimension? Do you think that would make it pop around my face more?

Do you have a picture of what you're thinking maybe? I'm just having a hard time imagining it in my head because it looks closer to a purple color (what you have now). I think if it was darker purple and then you did pink it would go together more. Maybe like these pictures?

This pink is cool. Maybe a light pink would work better with what you have? Sorry I hope this helps, I'm just having a hard time picturing it.

I think pink highlights would look weird from the picture it seems like you have an ombré going on but maybe adding pink to your ends would look really cool - but honestly unless it's a pastel pink then it won't look much different and since you have dark hair as a base it's hard to get those colors to really pop without a few bleaching sessions - which can be damaging if not done properly (even pros can mess it up) if you want to brighten up your current color maybe go to a salon and ask for a color glaze shine in red and that will brighten it up temporarily or try the john Frieda for red heads shampoo and see if that helps - either way reds always fade super fast (like within 2 weeks and it's gone usually in a month)

I think if you add just a wash of pink/Fucia it would brighten up the over all colour

Thanks ladies! I think I will mix some hot pink with the same fuschia I used this time around and see how it turns out :) I want it blended, not so much thick highlights. I love how hers is so dimensional and colorful without looking super dramatic in color differences. Kind of hard to explain exactly what I want.

I agree with Diana T and since this is a very unnatural shade, your hair will not hold onto the pigment for a long time. As you wash, the color will fade and brighten up a little bit. This is at least how it goes with professional color lines, I personally have never touched a box dye for myself or a client but I'm assuming the chemistry is similar. That said, I think it's a pretty shade as is :)
