So I have an interview at a pretty high-class restaurant. It's pretty fancy actually. I have a pretty laid back wardrobe, nothing fancy at all actually. lol.. So I'm in dire need of help.

Can you guys help me come up with an outfit for this? Like, pictures would REALLY help and be grratly appreciated. The weather is getting a bit chilly but I'm open to any and all outfit suggestions.

I've checked pinterest but it's not motivating me at all, I need interaction, so who better than my girls on BL?!

By the way my body type is slim and I have a smaller waist and chicken legs (lol), albeit a bit bigger in the chest and bum area if that helps..

Sorry that it's blurry. But something like this would look nice

Of course you'd need the neckline higher... But just like black pants, a nicer top, and a blazer or cardigan

Hmm. That's simple but could work. I'll need to get a blazer. :) thank you.

I am going to post one of my fancy work wear...that may help...you can pair this with some wing liner and red lips...I think it might be helpful :-) all the best!

I would stay away from wing liner and red lips! I was always told to keep makeup SUPER simple. No bold eyes or lips! Up to you though :-)

Omg aru you look so cute in that dress - I think all the photos posted are appropriate but definitely a higher neckline on the first photo - usually black slacks and a blazer with a button up blouse is appropriate for most interviews - heels are optional but if you opt for flats make sure they are a clean and simple and in a neutral shade unless it matches a color in your outfit - it helps you look more put together if your outfit matches your shoes - but a surprising pop of color with a neutral outfit also expresses personality for jobs where you need to be personable and like able

I used to work as a hostess at a high end restaurant. I suggest black pants or knee length skirt blazer and black sensible shoes. No sandals. I looked very professional and wearing black felt so chic. They liked my hair pulled out of my face and I would keep makeup classic and simple. Nothing trendy. The pics above are great examples. Good luck!

Thank you so much Diana and Renay :-) my bad, somehow I thought that in restaurant environment red lips will convey strength...but ignore me...wear whatever gives you the extra boost of confidence. Remember every interview is a procedure to figure out if you as person will fit into the org/employers overall environment... so research a little bit about the ambience and the work environment...and yes, confidence is the key...all the best...you will do great!
