How do you ladies feel about others who have naturally black hair and dye it blonde? I am seriously having issues with my hair lol :) I'm in need of change! Any ideas? Could blonde look good...or too much? Thank you in advance :)!

I have naturally black hair and bleached my hair platinum. I must say that you'll have to take extra good care of your hair and it may feel horrible the first few weeks.

For you I'd suggest a cool toned ashy blonde. I feel the ash colors really compliment everyone's skin tone especially warm toned skin and I like cool toned hair for the cooler months

Thank you for the options! :) and I'll consider the information. I'll ask my stylist when I see her...I'm nervous she won't let me do it because it's "not healthy". But it's gorgeous 😩

Ask your hairdresser if they have olaplex

I would suggest maybe getting highlights first or an ombre to start off, not just straight up bleach it because it is a lot of upkeep and you may not like it(even though, you can just dye over it but you know) lol.

I'm a fan of color blocking.

I wouldn't go full blonde, but maybe some light browns/caramels if you really want a change. And I think those colors would look beautiful with your skin tone! But if you DO wanna go more blonde, then like the Kim K pic above, J Lo does it well!

Merna, it is how I have my own color. Adding "blocks" rather than blending or transitioning of color. Admittedly, it isn't for everyone, but it is a creative way to introduce a new, dramatic color or contrast which permits a peek of a color you may be considering as a whole. I began mine with black beneath the blonde fringe for example and added more as I wanted change or felt comfortable. I've added "kickers" to the black with purple and blue tones...etc.
