School is starting soon and I want to start wearing a little bit of makeup. I have BB cream, lip gloss, clear mascara, and regular mascara. I've never really worn makeup to school so I'm unsure. I don't want to go to school looking like I just hopped out of bed, but I don't want to go with thick mascara and cakey foundation. I don't want to be the girl who tries to hard. Any help?

It's fine, basically everyone wears makeup at my school. 7th grade is usually the time. just do it in a good light so you know you're not putting too much on.

Please don't. Maybe it is just my opinion but all I miss today is seeing the fresh face of a young girl wearing no make up. It's such a good age , you look good without make up..You will have enough time to put it on that sometimes you will even get tired putting it on and washing it off. Trust me. I am 20 and I am so glad I look like a 10 y old kiddo with bushy eyebrows when I was 13. But anyway that's just my opinion. Take care sweety.

I am in 8th grade and I wore mascara, a stick concealer on blemishes, powder concealer, setting spray and also a brow powder, pencil and clear brow gel. Sometimes I also wore eyeshadow!

You could just start with a little bit of mascara, the older you"ll get, the more make up you could use. excuses for my English 😁

As long as you don't put on too many layers of BB cream you shouldn't have a cake you face and I personally would go with regular mascara. And don't worry about it, in 7th grade I used to wear winged liner, you'll be fine :)

In 7th grade I started playing with makeup, and got really into it. It's what kick-started my love for it. Iwore eyeshadow, usually white/silver/black or purple gradient eyes, mascara, and concealer on a daily basis. Honestly just wear what you're comfortable in. There will be people who wear a full face, and people who wear none and everything in between. Don't do anything you don't want to wear, if you're comfortable with just mascara then that's fine.

Yea that's perfect just to wear some bb cream and if you have some blemishes to cover then get some concealer. you can make black mascara look not so thick and cakey if you use it right, but for now I would use clear mascara until you practice enough. it makes perfect 😌

At my school, every girl started wearing makeup in 5th grade so when we got to 7th grade we were all wearing like a full face, but honestly, wear whatever you are comfortable with. I sometimes just go to school with a bare face and I'm a freshman in high school. Don't worry what people think. If you want to wear makeup, wear it. I don't think there is anything wrong with mascara. I'd use the regular mascara for the lashes and the clear mascara to set the brows in place, but that's just me!

I'm in middle school too 😆😆 a lot of my friends wore tinted lip balms in grade 5 and then in 6th grade they all wore A LOT of mascara. I wore concealer, bb cream and blush in 6th grade >.< I broke out a lot 😅👍🏻 honestly whatever is comfortable and whatever your parents allow 👍🏻👍🏻

I didn't wear makeup in 7th grade, but if it makes you feel confident then go for it! I just suggest wearing a bb cream or anything because at that age you still have beautiful young youthful skin and covering it up takes that away. Maybe try a tinted lip balm and a natural looking mascara.

When I was in seventh grade I wore: NYX concealer, I used the NYX "love in Paris" pallet, a light blush, Elf (brand) shimmer gloss, and "they're real!" By benefit (mascara)

BB cream is a great start. foundation is pretty heavy to start out with. make sure you get the BB cream blended nicely toward your jawline since you don't want any harsh lines. clear mascara is great for a more natural look.

Well I think bb cream is nice to start with but if you have really pretty skin - don't use it at all ☝️ and just apply a coat of mascara and if you want something on your brows and lips. That's it
