My personal preference for myself are my clean finger tips, however for clients, I prefer MAC 190.

Depends on the coverage you want!! If you are looking for a sheer, natural cover, use a foundation brush or a sponge. If you want medium/full coverage, I suggest using a stippling and buffing method. I use MACs 187 Duo Fibre but I've found that my elf flat top kabuki works just as well, if not better, for $40 dollars less!!

For liquid/cream foundation, I generally use my hands but when I use a bruse I like to use the Sonia Kashuk large duo fiber stippling brush or the pointed foundation brush. For powder foundation, I enjoy the ELF Studio flat top powder brush or the Sonia Kashuk large powder brush.
