Has anybody made their hair thicker?

Guys, I have incredibly thin hair, no hair loss just naturally thin hair since childhood. Is there anybody who has tried something to make your hair thicker that has worked? I hate having thin hair so much ANY tips would be appreciated as long as they are tested and have worked for you, thanks!!

Just like hair growth the thickness of your hair is based on genetics and since you can't change genetics there's really nothing you can do to make your hair thicker than it naturally is.

Layers. Layers. Layers! They make your hair look so much thicker! Also, a great and inexpensive shampoo would be Pantene Sheer Volume, and I just add a volumizing mousse (Herbal Essences) and blow dry on low heat with my head upside down. Hopefully this helps!

Layers in thin hair can actually make it look thinner because you can accidentally create 'holes'. I also have thin hair and I've used professionally sold Nioxin Shampoo along with their products as well as Hair Skin and Nail pills from it works! It won't totally change everything but it will help. If you're really wanting a big change I would recommend halo hair extensions as well. A bit pricey, but as a professional the only extensions I would ever recommend!

Yes I agree with Mariana the only reason I got layers because My hair is actually too thick I know that seems crazy but your hair can actually be too thick I'd go with a blunt cut.

Don't get layers. Try to grow it out, also Avada has a Volumizing tonic... I LOVE IT. The thickening tonic isn't that great. I also blow dry my hair upside down.
