I've heard that coconut oil helps your hair in ways. How do you apply it to your hair?

I didn't like it on its own. I usually mix it with an egg and some olive oil

Once or twice a month I like to apply it to my hair the night before I shampoo.
I also use a mix of coconut and almond oil on my damp hair after a shampoo to keep it moisturised longer.

Coconut oil helps your hair a lot but for me it's a bit uncomfortable. Coconut oil melts above 70 degrees Fahrenheit (room temperate during the summer). Take about a tablespoon (more if you'll be washing it out) and rub it around in your hands (like you would a hair serum) and distribute it evenly through your hair. If your washing it out, leave it in for about twenty minutes before shampooing and conditioning as normal. If your not washing it out just go about your day as you would!! Yay!!

I mixed with either hair conditioner, hair mask or almond oil and castor oil. Apply it all over my hair as I apply shampoo. If you have oily scalp don't apply it to your roots leave it for an hr. and wash it. Leaves my damage hair very soft. Coconut oil shouldn't be heated it let it melt at room temperature.

I normally take my coconut oil n mix with castor oil, olive oil n amla oil. I do this more in the winter time because curly hair tends to be dry.

Smother your hair with it, leave it in for 1-2 hours, then wash it out. It works wonders!
