Thoughts on this dress for grad?

Is graduation a huge thing where you are? Where I live it's not that formal. Girls just wear casual summer dresses. A dress like the one in your picture reminds me more of prom then graduation. If graduation is big where you are, then yes I think that dress will suit you :)

Do people from your school normally dress up for this event? People from my school always wear casual clothes, like sun dresses and such. It definitely suits you, and it's a beautiful dress! If your school is very formal for graduation, I say go for it! :) Xx

That is very dressy for graduation unless graduation is some huge event at your school. We often wear casual summer dresses as Anh mentioned, but the dress is very pretty!

I see your Canadian so I'll explain to everyone else, in Canada we don't have prom or homecoming, we just have our graduation ceremony and the dinner and event all in the same day/weekend. So it's the only chance to dress fancy, and some people spend thousands on their dresses. Some go in jeans and a tshirt.

But I think it's beautiful :) I don't know if you plan on buying online or in store, but check out bridal shops. They almost always have bridesmaid dresses for sale and since you only need one, there's no limit as long as you find one that fits. My cousin bought thus beautiful silver long Mermaid skirt dress from one, for 90$ on sale, originally 400$+. So if you are on a tight budget definitely check some of them out :)

Yeah here in Canada graduation is a big deal, we go all out on dresses and hair etc. I'm super excited for my grad this year as well. I love the dress tho, it'd look amazing paired with pearly accessories
