I absolutely love a bright lip for a night out or a date night but usually wearing a bright lip for me means very minimal kissing goes on for fear of all the transferring :P

Have you got any suggestions for lip products (bright or dark shades, I'm specifically looking for something like Mac's DarkSide but suggestions for anything is much appreciated) that have very minimal transfer?

Have you tried any of the liquid lipstick brands out there? They should dry down and not transfer at all!! Personally I have a hard time with the dry feeling on my lips - but if you can live with that then they are proberbly your best bet :)

Kat Von D liquid lipsticks! You can rehydrate with a tinted balm (like Fresh's) throughout the day/night after applying if you feel the need to.

The wet n wild liquid lipsticks are great for not transferring , just make sure to exfoliate and moisturize with any liquid lipstick.

I think there's a brand that makes a lipstick sealant

I don't know a whole lot of lipstick brands, but my favorite way to keep my lipsticks on longer is to press a tiny bit of my translucent powder onto it & then spray over it with my setting spray to remove the powdery look. makes it last hours longer for me!

You could try the berrisom lip tint pack. Its a lip stain tattoo. Apply it on lips wait for about 10 minutes for it to dry and peel it off. It will stay through out the night. I did a swatch the other day.. Here it is

I forgot to mention. That the lip stain does not transfer. Unless your lips is wet and there will be some minimal transfer.

Thanks Ladies!

@Sabrina, I've tried the Stila ones but there's only one or two shades I like which is a shame :P I quite like that dry matte feeling so liquid lipsticks are always an option.

@Aurora, it's not lipcote is it? My mum suggested it and I've heard mixed reviews online. Have you had any experience with it?

Lipcote is one brand and there's another called "sealed with a kiss" I use one before I think it was from Sally Hansen, I'm not sure but it did work well I think it depends on the formula of the lipstick you're using though.

You could also try the tip where you apply lipstick, blot ten add translucen powder.
Then apply another layer of lipstick and then blot again.
The layer of translucent powder will get rid of excess oil and and help it stick better it works better with thinner layers.

If you can find a plus or down thing that matches the lipstick you can even try the "cooking" method which will REALLY make it stick
