Recently I've just been using eye shadow to fill in my brows, but have been contemplating getting an ABH eyeshadow powder since mine is running out.
But really is there any difference or benefit to getting specific brow powder?

Not really, eyebrow powders come in shades that may be easier to match to your natural color, but if you've already found a shade that works for you then this wouldn't be an issue. Also, it just depends on the brand of eyeshadow and brand of eyebrow powder.. it may be better formula wise and last longer. I personally love my abh brow products but it's up to you what you use either method will work

Yeah I would agree on the shade thing for sure. I use ABH eye brow pencil to outline and then I like to fill with a powder. They are a great line and maybe are formulated to stay a bit better. I think I'm going to try one out and see, so I don't waste my eye shadow hahah

I think so. The eyeshadow is what I believe formulated to be soft and build-able pigmentation and also very blend-able. I feel as if brow powders are very harsh and may take a lil more effort to blend away like an eyeshadow.
You can continue to use an eyeshadow as a brow powder but if it doesn't last as long or get the desired brow look then now you know why.

In my personal experience, eyebrow powder lasts longer. I recently purchased the ABH Brow Powder Duo and I don't regret it at all. I used to use eyeshadow and I find the brow powder stays longer and looks less powdery.

There is no difference. I have really oily skin so that may be the issue as to why I don't personally see a difference

Keep your routine as is if it works for you. I own the abh brow powder and I don't really like the fact that it doesn't apply very easily... I can't explain it lol. But it might be waterproof.
