I bought a new maskara and found it dry what to do?

There are some tricks you can do (adding in oil like argan, coconut, or maracuja or heating water and immersing the tube in it) BUT if it's already dry, there's a very real chance that the tube has been exposed to air for a while and probably shouldn't be considered safe to use. I would probably toss it. :/
