I always loved how my hair was after swimming in the ocean and missed it once I moved away from it.. I tried all sorts of products that are supposed to give you beach waves but nothing worked until I mixed some sea and water together in a spray bottle. It took awhile to get the mix just right and some trial and error but if you use hot water the salt will dissolve so it doesn't clog the sprayer. You can add a little leave in conditioner to it so it doesn't dry your hair out and has a better smell.

Thank you! Do you do it while your hair is wet or dry?

Usually wet. I tried spraying it enough when it was dry but to really get the full effect it's best to do it when it's wet. It worked the best during the summer when I would go outside in the sun (:

I have thick hair, and I recently bought one from Organix. It didn't work and I was very disappointed, but it may possibly work better in your hair :) I say you just try it.

I love Paul Mitchell's Awapui - wild ginger Sea Salt Texturizer. And Aquage also has a great one. Beware, I have heard horror stories of people who used a sea salt spray and then spent the day outside in the sun, it stripped their hair color out. Went from green to blonde, in a matter if hours!

Not Your Mother's sea salt spray is amazing. It's like 4 or 5 dollars and if you put it on damp hair and scrunch it a bit it works like a charm. I love it.
