So I don't have bad acne, but when I get pimples they are big and inflamed. I have three that I've had for like 2 weeks and they won't go away. I'm a big skin fanatic, so yes I do wash/exfoliate/put masks on. Any help is appreciated 😊

I work in a spa as an esthetician and some of your breakouts could be cystic breakout which are big and sometimes under the skin don't exfoliate too much with a scrub especially over the breakouts because that can make it a lot worse by opening up the breakout and spreading the bacteria over the face more and the scrub can be too irritating for open breakouts anyways also, don't try to extract and squeeze the pimples because underneath the skin that breaks the follicle wall and spreads the bacteria to pores next to it that's why sometimes you get pimples side by side. What I would recommend is by the skin line EXUVIANCE the clear and smooth anti blemish pads it controls acne and smooths skins texture has a combo of salicylic acid and alpha hydroxy acids which enhances exfoliation,oiliness,diminishes pore size and helps prevent new breakouts from forming also is amazing for cystic acne under the skin because it helps bring it to the surface sometimes kills the bacteria before it comes to the surface and will just disappear its also amazing for getting rid of blackheads :) you can purchase them online or in any ulta store I believe sells EXUVIANCE. There's 36 pads in the container and to make them last longer just cut them in half! Hope this helps! :)

I've heard if you get the gel Advil and poke a hole in it and put it on the inflamed pimple it takes the swelling and redness down. I haven't tried it, but maybe it works? I've also heard you can crush and mix an aspirin and it does the same thing. I'm not positive it works though! Haha.
